-brushes dust off this journal- It's been years since I updated on DeviantArt though I do check it every now and again. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things concerning art. I stopped for a long time--burnt out from school, failed job searching, etc... but I think I'm ready to come back to it. It might mean more school to get back into it but ultimately, I won't let my first degree go to waste. I only feel regret when I think about it letting it sit there. We'll see where this heads.

I have been stressing over my Background Design and Layout class since I began it.  I have finished what I'm going to turn into him today and just push this project aside in order to work on other things. On another note, I'm unwrapping my Marquis Bunny model so look for a textured version at some point. :)

Well, I finally finished creating Marquis in a costume of a bunny rabbit.  It was very challenging toward the end, especially the head.  I wanted to stab Maya repeatedly and throw it out the window but now that he's finished, I think I can live with it a bit longer. I don't know what it is but I seem to take to Maya a lot better than I do 3D Studio Max.  Maybe it's just that much more user friendly than Max, even if it puts overlapping faces all. over. my. model.  *rants*  I hate when that happens, then I have to go in and delete every single one and that sucks.
